A forty strong group from the 1st Fressingfield Scouts have returned from a blistering week of sun and fun in Sussex after completing their summer camp.
Members from the Explorer Unit and two Scout Troops based at Fressingfield took part in a range of activities many based on and in the water. The camp has been dubbed 'Water wonderland' with the young people enjoying rafting, sailing, kayaking and lots of opportunity to swim.
Camping, scout skills, hiking and lots of games also featured in a packed programme – with a highlight being our outing to Chessington World of Adventure.
The six day summer camp is just one of many opportunities during the year that members of the 1st Fressingfield Scout Group undertakes. The group is taking new members in September. Contact the Group Scout Leader, Andrew for further details on 07908 262623.
