A private gipsy site on the edge of Attleborough is being tipped for refusal next week because of highway safety concerns.
Plans were submitted for six pitches, utility rooms, and hard standings next to an existing gipsy family on land at Docking Wood, off Leys Lane, last year.
But the proposals by Anthony Gaskin are being recommended for refusal on Monday when Breckland Councillors are due to discuss the application.
Officers at the district council say that the narrow access at Leys Lane will not be able to cope with an increase in traffic movements, which will cause danger and inconvenience to pedestrians, cyclists and other road users.

The application for the woodland site to the south of Attleborough has been opposed by the town council because of highway concerns and it is outside the development boundary.
Norfolk County Council's highways department has also objected because the road serving the proposed gipsy site is 'inadequate' with a lack of passing places and restricted visibility.
