A number of trains between Norwich and London have been cancelled.

The 7.03am, 8am and 8.30am services from Norwich to London Liverpool Street and the 9.30am, 10.30am and 11.02am services from Liverpool Street to Norwich on Thursday will not run.

Greater Anglia said the cancellations were due to a problem that trapped trains in a depot earlier in the day.

A number of other trains have been cancelled due to the depot problems including the 7.30am, 8.18am and 9.17am services from Great Yarmouth to Norwich, the 7.34am service from Norwich to Cambridge, the 7.43am and 8.37am services from Norwich to Great Yarmouth and the 9.09am service from Cambridge to Norwich.

It follows the earlier cancellations of the 5.53am Cromer to Norwich service and the 6.31am train from Sheringham to Norwich, which Greater Anglia said was also due to problems at a depot.
