Green Cow by Shelley Marshall-Nicholls was one of the first works to sell as 200 people attended the first weekend of Wymondham Artists Open Exhibition.

Four sales were achieved and much interest generated in the exciting and eclectic art show.

John Behm of Wymondham Arts Forum said: 'The standard of work is very high. Given the strong mix of professional and amateur artists, this exhibition is a real treat and shows Wymondham really does have gifted talent. The town will be very proud - come and see!'

Grade 1 Listed Becket's Chapel provides a historic home for Wymondham Arts Centre and since opening in mid-April has already welcomed 1,700 visitors through the doors.

The exhibition is open daily from 10am until 4pm and admission is free.
