Avid readers and fans of historical fiction are being encouraged to attend a book signing at an independent south Norfolk bookshop.
On Saturday, June 9, Norwich born author Hannah Colby, will visit Diss Publishing Bookshop for a signing of her debut novel; A Place of Springs.
Set in Sarajevo in 1991, A Place of Springs is a novel of epic proportions exploring the physical and physiological effects of war. Following the life of pianist Daniel Danuczek, the story, which is set against the backdrop of the Siege of Sarajevo follows the musician's fortunes as he searches for lost love and encounters a crisis which will changes his fortunes and career for ever.
Ms Colby who was born in Norwich before studying in London and Paris before moving to Suffolk to raise her children will visit Diss Publishing Bookshop, in Mere Street from 10am-1pm.
