Ofsted inspectors have found Garboldisham Church Primary School to be a happy school providing a good quality of education for all of its pupils.
The school was graded “outstanding” for the care, guidance and support of pupils for their personal well-being, following a recent assessment, and good for all other aspects.
The chairman of governors, Mary Feakes, said the “marvellous result” was a testament to the consistent hard work and dedication of headteacher, Alice Hemmings, and all her staff - allied with the unwavering support of parents and the governing body.
They had pulled together to make Garboldisham school the thriving, successful school recognised in the inspectors' report.
She said it was also heartening that Ofsted had judged that the current strengths of the school meant it had a good capacity to improve even more. Sustained improvement would remain a focus for the school.
