Police seized a dirt bike after it was ditched by the rider as they attempted to evade police in Harleston.

Officers spotted the motorcycle on Sunday morning (December 8) but the biker made off before they could be stopped.

The Yamaha bike was subsequently found abandoned in a gateway together with a crash helmet. Further investigations found the motorcycle had no MOT or insurance.

The rider has been challenged to come forward to reclaim the bike.

In a Tweet South Norfolk Police said: "If it was you and you would like your bike back please feel free to contact Harleston Police Station to discuss the next steps."
