Officers spotted the motorcycle on Sunday morning (December 8) but the biker made off before they could be stopped.

The Yamaha bike was subsequently found abandoned in a gateway together with a crash helmet. Further investigations found the motorcycle had no MOT or insurance.

The rider has been challenged to come forward to reclaim the bike.

In a Tweet South Norfolk Police said: "If it was you and you would like your bike back please feel free to contact Harleston Police Station to discuss the next steps."
