A coffee morning jobs club is being launched at Harleston under a new partnership scheme.
The informal meetings will be held on a weekly basis, from Wednesday, June 24 until the end of the year, at the Harleston Information Plus centre at 8 Exchange Street.
It is aimed at people seeking jobs or interested in setting up their own business.
Norfolk careers advisors and employers are invited to come into the centre to help with hints and tips, and workshops will be set up to assist with job-seeking requirements live CV writing and interview skills.
Assistance will be available for internet job seeking, and referrals for learning a raft of life skills, such as IT, health and safety, first aid, child care, and entering sport-based work via adult education.
The job club is the result of a new collaboration by South Norfolk Council, Norfolk Careers Guidance, Adult Education, local employers, the Job Centre and Harleston Information Plus.
