A motorist has been reported for traffic offences after being stopped in South Norfolk in a vehicle found to have been on the road without tax for a year.

The vehicle was towing a trailer on A143 at Harleston when it was stopped by police on Tuesday (March 5).

Officers also found the vehicle had been without an MOT for the last six months. The trailer was also found to have defects.

The driver was issued with a Traffic Offence Report for the offences which could lead to a later decision for the driver to attend an education courses, be issued with a fixed penalty or a summons to court.
