A Suffolk pre-school is celebrating a glowing Ofsted report following a two-day inspection.
St Edmund's Pre-school at Hoxne, was rated as outstanding in all areas, and the high standards of care and education were praised.
The inspector said in her report: “The quality of teaching and learning is outstanding. Children are cared for in a warm, welcoming and cosy environment that is extremely safe. The well established routines enable children to feel secure and develop a true sense of belonging.”
Children are keen to do well because they are enthused by the wide range of activities on offer including the highly inviting and inspiring outdoor area.”
Pre-school secretary Victoria Williams said messages of congratulations have already been received from Suffolk County Council and Hoxne Primary School.
Based at the village hall, the pre-school has 30 children on its roll and operates five days a week.
