Hundreds affected by Diss power cuts

Hundreds of homes and businesses in the Diss area have been affected by power cuts this morning following an electricity substation fault.

Power has been interrupted to more than 500 customers in Diss, Dickleburgh, Palgrave, Scole, Stuston, and Wortham, since 9.

Power has been interrupted to more than 500 customers in Diss, Dickleburgh, Palgrave, Scole, Stuston, and Wortham, since 9.20am today.

An EDF Energy spokesman said engineers had restored power to 128 properties by 9.22am and are currently working to restore supplies to the 421 customers who remain affected by the fault on the high voltage electricity network.
