Firefighters were called to a blaze at a house in Pulham St Mary after its roof was struck by lightning.Five crews from Harleston, Long Stratton, Diss, and Earlham, attended the property in North Green Road at about 1.

The fire involved the roof space of the 20x15m two-storey house after being hit by a lightning bolt.
Firefighters used an aerial ladder to get the blaze under control by 2.30am.
