Rail passengers using a Norfolk station can now get live up-to-date information on the availability of car park spaces before they travel.
Train operator Greater Anglia has introduced live occupancy information at 14 rail station car parks, with Diss becoming the first in Norfolk.
Customers can view current availability ahead of their visit, as well as expected occupancy for any given time or day of the week based on historical trend data.
Simone Bailey, Greater Anglia's asset management director, said: "We know customers who drive to stations want to be able to park as quickly and easily as possible, which is why we're committed to improving parking across the Greater Anglia network, making life a little easier for our customers."
Automatic number plate recognition to be installed at Diss station
Automatic register number plate cameras began operating at Diss in March as part of car park improvements that allow passengers to pay online as well as providing more accurate information.
Live occupancy information is now available via greateranglia.co.uk and the Great Anglia Parking Portal gaparking.co.uk
