Road resurfacing work looks set to bring traffic disruption to a busy junction in Long Stratton.
Swan Lane will be closed to all traffic during the £35,000 work that is set to begin on Sunday, September 15 and will extend from the junction with A140 to the junction with St Michaels Road.
The junction between Swan Lane and the A140 Ipswich Road is a well known bottleneck in the town and scene of frequent congestion.
In an effort to minimise disruption Norfolk County Council is to carry out the resurfacing works between 4pm and 6am and it is estimated it will take one day to complete subject to suitable weather conditions.
A fully signed diversion route via Manor Road and Flowerpot Lane will be in place for the duration of the works. Vehicle access to businesses and properties within the limits of the works will be maintained from one end of the closure.
