A man has been arrested on suspicion of a number of driving offences including driving whilst disqualified and being over the legal alcohol limit.
At around 10pm on Thursday, May 17, South Norfolk police tweeted that they had arrested a man for 'driving whilst disqualified/no insurance/whilst over the prescribed alcohol limit. Preliminary breath test came back four times the drink drive limit.'
The arrest took place near the Morrisons supermarket in the town.
Following the incident, the man who is reported to be from Suffolk was taken to Wymondham Police Station.
Investigations are on going.
