A man was remanded in custody yesterday accused of wounding his half-brother. William Lee Orris, who is 24 today, of Chestnut Road, Pulham St Mary, appeared before Thetford Magistrates accused of unlawfully and maliciously wounding Gary Sliney with intent to cause grievous bodily harm on Friday night.
Pulham St Mary: A man was remanded in custody yesterday accused of wounding his half-brother. William Lee Orris, who is 24 today, of Chestnut Road, Pulham St Mary, appeared before Thetford Magistrates accused of unlawfully and maliciously wounding Gary Sliney with intent to cause grievous bodily harm on Friday night.
The 20-year-old, who lives at the same address, also where the incident happened, remains in a critical but stable condition at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital where he is being treated for stab wounds.
Orris made no plea and spoke only to confirm his name, address and date of birth at court. He was denied bail and will appear before Norwich Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on June 16.
