Market Hill in Diss town centre has been closed for essential electrical repairs by UK Power Networks.
The closure, which is due to a low voltage mains cable, could be in place until November 20. Works are being carried out by Norfolk County Council.
All shops are accessible to pedestrians. Diss Town Council apologised for the inconvenience.
