More than �2,000 stolen in Diss bank theft
More than �2,000 in cash and cheques has been stolen from a bank deposit box in Diss.
More than �2,000 in cash and cheques has been stolen from a bank deposit box in Diss.
Thieves broke into the box, secured to the outside of Lloyds TSB in Market Hill, at about 1am on September 27.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the theft to come forward.
Investigating officer PC Helen Walters, from the Diss Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: 'We're keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the theft taking place or who otherwise has information about the offence.
