The recycling centre at Morningthorpe will be closed on April 1 to allow essential maintenance works to the site entrance.
The site will close at 4pm on Tuesday, re-opening at 8am on Thursday April 2.
The temporary closure will enable Norfolk County Council to remove potholes and resurface the recycling centre, to ensure on-site safety for customers and staff. To minimise disruption, the work has been timed when significantly fewer people use the service. An estimated 100 people visit the site on weekdays during April, compared to more than 250 people on summer bank holidays.
During the closure, householders can still use any of the councils other 18 recycling centres. All sites are open seven days a week with summertime hours of 8am to 6pm effective from April 1.
