Part of a historic coach house is to be converted into a holiday let for people visiting a popular Norfolk market town.
The owners of the Grade II Listed Building in Mount Street, close to the centre of Diss, believe the change to the currently under-used two-storey outbuilding 'will also contribute to bringing in visitors to a central location in Diss within easy walking distance of all the facilities the town has to offer'.
Changes will be made to doors, windows, vehicle access and building insulation as part of the plans, which have been given the green light by South Norfolk Council.
The holiday unit will remain linked to the main building and run by the owners of the coach house.
The planning permission lasts for the next three years.
