Harold Rackham, a leading figure in the local construction industry and former chairman of the Diss and District Development Partnership, has rejoined the town council.
Neil Howard, a former retained firefighter and store manager at the East of England Co-operative in Norwich, was also co-opted onto the council at a meeting last week.
The new members, who both live in Diss, take the places vacated by Andrew Thurston and Trevor Wenman, who resigned after a mayor making meeting in May.
