The chance to get your Diss community hero recognised

Do you know someone who has gone above and beyond for the community?
Now is your chance to make sure their efforts are recognised as the annual Honoured Citizen and Junior Good Citizen awards nominations have opened.
Every year Diss Town Council awards members of he community who have dedicated their time for the good of others.
In the past nominees have ranged from community group leaders to neighbours who are always ready to lend a hand to others.
To be entered into the Junior Good Citizen category the individual must be any young person who attends school in Diss, while the Honoured Citizen award is for anyone else in the town.

To nominate someone, you can download an entry form from diss.gov.org or visit the town council's offices to collect one.
The deadline for entries is midday on Friday, March 30 and the awards are usually held in May.
