A 15-year-old pupil has been named as his school's Poet Laureate for this year.
Michael Kelly was awarded the title at Old Buckenham High School for his poem called The World from Eyes of Harvey McDrebbin.
The poignant work, which tells a child's view of politics, impressed the judges who felt he had taken a difficult subject and written with insight, humour and satire.
Michael's poems and those of this fellow nominees can be read on the school's website by visiting www.obhs.co.uk
