The Old Dyssean Society is holding a special centenary reunion this month to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the building of Diss Grammar School. The event takes place at 4pm on Monday September 22 at Diss Golf Club, and it is hoped that many former students and staff will be able to attend.

The Old Dyssean Society is holding a special centenary reunion this month to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the building of Diss Grammar School.

The event takes place at 4pm on Monday September 22 at Diss Golf Club, and it is hoped that many former students and staff will be able to attend. Tickets cost £13.75 per person, to include a “superior” buffet meal to be served from 5.30pm, and members may bring one guest.

Booking forms and payment should be sent to society secretary Kath Bass, 11, Ranson Road, Norwich, NR1 4AJ, together with membership renewal fees. Forms, including those for new members, are available at the Diss Mercury office and should be posted to arrive by Saturday September 13.
