Police used a drone as part of a major search overnight for a missing man thought to be at risk.

Norfolk Police were joined by firefighters and ambulance crews after a 17-year-old man from Scole was reported missing at 3am this morning.

A major search was launched after concerns were raised for the safety of the man.

A drone was used and police dog teams were also involved in the search in the early hours.

The man was eventually found safe outside the Scole Inn pub at 7am.

PC Jim Squires, of South Norfolk Police, said: “This was launched as a full search because it was classed as a concern for safety missing person.

“The 17-year-old man was eventually found safe at the Scole Inn just before 7am.”
