Motorists are being advised to avoid a number of level crossings in South Norfolk due to barriers being down.
South Norfolk police have warned drivers to avoid level crossings in Gissing , Burston, Newton Flotman and Swainsthorpe following a fault on the line.
At around 3.45pm on Saturday, May 5 NPolice Students tweeted: 'Level crossing barriers are currently down due to a fault at Gissing, Burston, Newton Flotman and Swainsthorpe - avoid if possible.'
The affected level crossings are; Church Road in Swainsthorpe, Greenways in Newton Flotman and Grove Road in Gissing.
Greater Anglia have also be warning travellers via Twitter to expect delays on a number on Norwich to London services and to check the Greater Anglia web site before travelling for services stopping at Diss due to scheduled engineering works and signalling faults.
