Police in a South Norfolk town are to hold a meeting with the public to discuss concerns about gangs, knife crime and county lines.
The Diss Safer Neighbourhood Team will be at the Mere Mouth in the town on Saturday between 11am and 3pm to address any issues people have and to answer questions.
Inspector Jason Selvarajah said officers would be providing information about gang, knife and drug crime for concerned youths, parents and residents.
It comes after police stepped up patrols in Diss in response to arrests following a violent confrontation involving teenagers.
Two boys aged 15 and one aged 16 were arrested on February 19 at Mere Street on suspicion of affray, assault ABH and possession of an offensive weapon. All three were subsequently released pending further enquiries.
A large number of youths remained in the area following the incident which led to police implementing a Section 34 Order.
• Meanwhile on Wednesday evening police issued a driver with a Section 59 warning for the anti-social use of a motor vehicle at Morrisons in Diss. Another vehicle was stopped for various defects.
