The organiser of a 1940s weekend says his interest in the era might have something to do with his birthday falling on D-Day.
This will be the seventh wartime weekend Mark Bancroft will have organised at The Greyhound pub in Tibenham, South Norfolk.
A life-long passion for the armed forces led to him setting up the annual event held in the two-and-a-half acre field behind the Greyhound pub.
And visitors to the 1940s weekend running from Friday, July 21 to Sunday, July 23 will also be raising money for charity, as well as having a lot of fun.
Admission is free apart from Saturday evening.
Donations will be going to the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA) and to Cancer Research.
Mr Bancroft joked: “Every year my wife says ‘you are not doing it this year’. And every year I do.
“I enjoy putting on the event and last year we raised £2,500 - all through the year people say book me in.
“They seem to love coming - it’s a nice, friendly show.”
On Friday evening, Italia Conti trained singer Sarah Probert will be entertaining visitors with songs from the decade.
And on the Saturday evening singer former X Factor contestant Jade Grande will be taking centre stage.
There will be local musicians performing too.
A tea dance will be held from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday and everyone is invited to dress in period costume for the weekend.
There will also be living history displays, as well as military vehicles on show and gun displays by SSAFA.
Burgers, chips and local ales will be on sale and there will be vintage stalls too and a raffle with prizes that include a gilder flight.
A memorial service will be held for the 445th Bombardment Group that was stationed at Tibenham during the Second World War from November 1943 to July 1945.
