Parts of south Norfolk saw a number of power cuts yesterday.
Houses in Forncett End were expected to have power back by 5.30pm, while in Dickleburgh 70 households called UK Power Networks to report cuts, with restored power expected by 3pm.
Residents in the postcode area IP21 and IP22 in Diss received a text message from UK Power Networks yesterday afternoon, which said a fault on an overhead cable is taking longer than expected to fix.
Temporary generators were brought in to bring the power back on, which happened shortly before 8.30pm.
Earlier in the day Botesdale and Burston were affected by the cuts. UK Power Networks are investigating a high voltage overhead electricity line fault which caused the power cuts.
