Works costing £28,000 will close a village main road for a day this weekend.

The Street/Harleston Road will be closed to traffic on Sunday, March 3 for resurfacing works, depending on weather conditions.

The closure will be at the junction of The Street/Harleston Road at the junction with Hall Road and a signed diversion route will be in place for the duration of the work.

Funding for the scheme is from the extra £12.694m Norfolk County Council received from the government to spend on road maintenance in 2018 and 2019. It is Norfolk's share of the £420m, made available to local authorities in England, announced in the Budget on October 29 last year.
