Nine-year-old Melissa Thornton proudly shows off her fundraising cheque of £361 after completing a sponsored walk for the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

The schoolgirl organised the 3.5 mile walk around Dickleburgh playing field, near Diss, on Sunday, March 25.

As a result of her fundraising efforts for the lifesaving charity, Melissa was invited for a tour of the air ambulance base in Norwich and to present her cheque on April 2.
