Roads and public transport have been disrupted across East Anglia today, with a string of accidents in the slippery conditions and a number of bus services cancelled or diverted.

Here is some of the latest travel information:

Trains:

On the trains, National Express East Anglia has cancelled its Liverpool Street to Norwich services at 7pm, following earlier cancellations at 5.50pm and 6.20pm, while journeys from Norwich to London are running around 20 minutes late.

On the King's Lynn to King's Cross route, there were delays of up to 90 minutes caused by broken down trains, but by this evening most trains were running with only small delays.

Services between Norwich and Sheringham are also delayed.

Roads:

The A47 Dereham bypass was described as 'treacherous' on Thursday evening, with a number of minor crashes as temperatures plummet to around -6C.

X1 Report :

The popular X1 bus service, which operates a passenger service between Peterborough and Lowestoft, carried on in heavy snows despite delay. The service operates from about 5.30am and makes stops at Norfolk and Cambridgeshire towns including Wisbech, King's Lynn and Dereham.

The service was delayed getting into King's Lynn and was travelling at speeds of between 10 and 15 mph along the A47 and the numbers of passengers were less than would normally be travelling on the route. The Lynn journey didn't arrive into Dereham until nearly 9.30am which was 45 minutes late.

The service is still running but is subject to severe delays and accidents have been reported in Necton and East Tuddenham.

Service between Kings Lynn and Peterborough has been reduced to hourly until further notice.

X2 Report - Service running with delays up to 20 minutes.

X3 Report - Service is running but with severe delays.

t Norwich buses:

Norfolk Green: Snow and treacherous roads are causing major disruption, especially around the Fakenham area, where buses are getting no nearer to the town centre than Highfields Road because of a gas leak which has closed Oak Street.

The following routes are NOT running at the moment:

Service 26A Blakeney to Fakenham

Service 27 The Creakes to Fakenham

Service 31 Heacham to Fakenham

Service 47 Downham Market to King's Lynn They will attempt to run the 12:15 and if successful the service will start running again, but will still not serve Retreat Estate in Downham Market.

Service 50 Long Sutton to Wisbech

Service 60 is now running again.

First: After further snowfall overnight services are affected as follows -

Service 9 - Will not serve Cavell Road, Sandy Lane, Theobold Road or Coleburn Road.

Service 10 - Will not serve The Paddocks.

Service 12A - Will not serve Dragonfly Lane, The Pines or The Brambles.

Service 13 - Is subject to severe delays.

Service 14/15/15A - Will not Serve Tuttles Lane East, Lime Tree Avenue, Sheffield Road, Part of Hewitts Lane or the estate in Silfield.

Service 16 - Will not serve Fiddlewood or Queens Hills.

Service 18 - Will not serve St Leger, Spinney Close or Porter Road.

Service 19/20 - Alternate route around Heartsease - Heartsease roundabout, Heartsease Lane, Salhouse Road, Woodside Road and Plumstead Road East back to Heartsease roundabout. - For the time being services will not go into the Heartsease estate.

Services will not serve Costessey, 19/20 will operate via Dereham Road to the Bowthorpe roundabout and return via Dereham Road.

Service 21/22 - Services will not serve Hutchinson Road, West Earlham Shops, Rockingham Road, Wilberforce Road or Malbrook Road. Will also not serve Falcon Road West or Linacre Avenue.

Service 23 - Will not serve Eaton Village.

Service 24 - Will not serve Pilling Road, Gordon Avenue, Hillcrest Avenue, Thunder Lane, Spinney Road, South Hill Road or Pound Lane. Service 24 will operate along St Williams Way between Heartsease roundabout and Sainsburys.

Service 25/35 - Will not serve Chancellors Drive, all services will enter the University via the Park Gates entrance on Earlham Road. Service 35 will not serve Northfields or North Park Avenue. Service 35 will operate via The Avenues in both directions.

Both services will not serve Albion Way (Morrisons)

Service 28 - Will not serve Pendlesham Rise, Felsham Way, Long Dale or Drewray Drive.

Service 50 - Will not serve Gashouse Hill or Millgate in Aylsham. Will not serve Station Road, Mill Road, Cromwell Road, Beach Road or Cadogan Road in Cromer.

All services are subject to delays.

Anglian Buses: 999 service suspended, which runs from Pettus Road to Gertrude Road in Norwich via the city centre and was running a limited service on its 123 route.

Airport:

Norwich International Airport was closed until about 11am due to the severe weather conditions.

The runways needed to be cleared and the 8.15am from Aberdeen landed just after 11.15am.

Service 45 - Will not serve St Augustines Way in North Wootton.

The 63 Wisbech to King's Lynn (the 46 is running).

The 60 Three Holes to Wisbech

The 50 Long Sutton to Wisbech

The 47 Downham Market to King's Lynn (the 37 is running)

Trains:

First Capital Connect, which runs trains between King's Lynn and London King's Cross, said there was "severe disruption" caused by broken down trains at Cambridge and Finsbury Park.

Delays of 90 minutes are now being reported.

t Lowestoft

Roads: There's a fair covering of snow on the roads and paths in Lowestoft, but traffic within the town is moving slowly.

The A12 south towards Wrentham and Southwold is very snowy and the smaller roads are very slippery.

The A146 is moving slowly towards Lowestoft, even more slowly towards Norwich.
