South Norfolk woke up to a second day of heavy snow this morning with many schools across the region closed and motorists warned to take extra care on the roads.
Diss Junior School, Diss High School, Diss Infant and Nursery School are amongst more than 400 schools in the region closed today, with many citing dangerous driving conditions and unsafe journeys to school as the reason for closure.
Police are warning drivers to be safe on the roads and to allow extra time for journeys.
The advice they give is to keep a safe distance from the car in front, be aware of how icy the roads are and make sure you are prepared for the drive.
