Community policing teams are set to undertake a 51 date tour across South Norfolk in order to hear concerns of local residents first hand.
Diss, Harleston and Long Stratton Safer Neighbourhood Team will visit almost every major town and village in the south of the county as they undertake the mammoth summer-long tour from August 8 to September 6.
The team want to give all of their communities a chance to engage and speak to them about any problems or issues local residents may have; or to just say hello and meet the team.
In Diss the team's current neighbourhood priorities are identified as speeding, drugs and theft from shops; in Harleston and Long Stratton they also include vehicle anti-social behaviour.
The tour is a new way of engaging with local people after previous community meetings proved to be not well attended.
At each stop officers will be providing an hour long drop-in session combining other activities such as speed enforcement and patrols of the local area.
The tour includes stop-offs in Diss, Roydon and Bressingham on August 10; Harleston, Long Stratton and Pulham St Mary on August 17; Starston, Thorpe Abbotts and Pulham Market on August 28; and Tivetshall St Mary, Rushall and Billingsford on September 4.
Villages including Gissing, Winfarthing, Shelfanger, Tibenham, Hardwicfk, Topcroft and Fersfield will also be paid a visit.
Inspector Laura Symonds said: "The South Norfolk policing team are currently looking at different ways to engage with our local community.
"Not many people attended our last public meeting for the District in Diss - therefore the Diss, Harleston and Long Stratton Safer Neighbourhood Team will come to you.
"I encourage you to come along and get to know your local beat manager - so you can hear what priorities we are currently focusing on; and we can listen to any concerns you may have about your local area. Engagement is an essential part of community policing - so we welcome meeting more people soon."
A full list of places and dates that will be visited can be found on the South Norfolk Police Facebook page.
