Primary school pupils were invited to high school to get a taste of what lies ahead. Last Tuesday, Old Buckenham High School opened its doors to the local schools to host a cultural Arts Day. The high school wanted this day of activities to help the Year 6 pupils from the Cluster Primary Schools to mix and make friends with one another prior to starting high school in September.
The activities were African drumming, Kapoeira Dancers, jewellery making, circus skills and a lesson with the drama teacher Mr Lynch. All the children taking part found the day to be really helpful and exciting. The activity day has been a tradition for several years and it is hoped that it will be carried on.
