A teenager has been left gobsmacked after fighting off the competiton to win a best original artist award.
Breeze Redwine, from Startson, picked up the gong at the South East Entertainment Awards ahead of a summer fully booked with gigs, but she must finish her GCSEs first.
The 15-year-old is weeks away from finishing her exams at Archbishop Sancroft High School and then she will embark on a series of gigs including the Stradisphere Festival in Stradbroke.
Her mum Jackie Redwine said: 'We were absolutely gobsmacked when Breeze won the award, we don't know how she got involved with it and it was a shock as we had gone along for the experience but never expected to win.'
Alongside her summer filled with gigs Breeze is also working on a top secret project set to be released in conjunction with Norfolk Day.
