Thousands of birds died in a blaze at a duck rearing barn near Attleborough this morning .Fire crews from Wymondham, Watton, Hingham, Attleborough, and a water carrier from Hethersett, were called to the poultry farm in Stalland Common, Great Ellingham, at about 3.
Thousands of birds died in a blaze at a duck rearing barn near Attleborough this morning .
Fire crews from Wymondham, Watton, Hingham, Attleborough, and a water carrier from Hethersett, were called to the poultry farm in Stalland Common, Great Ellingham, at about 3.15am.
Around 3,500 ducks were reported to have died in the fire in the 70x20m building. Firefighters spent about 90minutes tackling the blaze.
