Leisure centres in South Norfolk will be helping to celebrate National Fitness Day by hosting fun challenges and activities that will be open to everyone.

The day of activities on September 26 include a Bike Challenge with staff and customers at Diss, Long Stratton and Wymondham Leisure Centre competing to see who can cycle the furthest. Bikes will be available from 6.30am to 10pm with a minimum half hour slots.

There will also be a challenge to discover who can swim the furthest on the day. If you are swimming in a public swim session, keep track of your lengths and record it on the flip chart poolside. Lengths will be converted into metres to find out who's the champion.

Other activities on the day include a free lunchtime class, Abs HIIT, at Long Stratton Leisure Centre between 12.15pm–12.45pm.

There will be free PT Taster Sessions at Diss and Long Stratton, while members at both can also take along a friend for free to try out a gym or public swim session. No need to book.
