As the Women's Institute prepares to mark its 100th anniversary next year a special centenary baton made its way to Diss today.
The baton will be visiting all 6,600 branches across England and Wales reaching London’s Albert Hall in June.
Starting in Anglesey the baton arrived in Norwich on Tuesday and reached Diss by bus today, where 93-year-old Hilda Corbitt, who has been a WI member since 1952, received the baton from Norfolk federation chairman Wendy Adams.
The baton will be handed over to Thetford on Tuesday before making its way to Suffolk.
