A rural road, near Harleston, will be closed from next week for a carriageway reconstruction project.

Rushall Lane in Starston will be shut for seven days from Wednesday, October 17 for the work, which will involve strengthening the carriageway.

The scheme will extend from a point 150 metres west of the junction with Railway Hill westwards to a point about 600 metres west of Upper Harmans Lane.

A fully signed diversion via Railway Hill/Hardwick Road, Bush Green and Station Road will be in place for the duration of this work

Access to properties and businesses within the works will be maintained from one end of the closure at any time during the Norfolk County Council work, which will cost 113,000.
