Six members of Diss and Eye Sea Angling Club travelled to West Mersea to fish for cod on December 18. The weather was fine and sunny and they travelled out to about seven miles offshore.

The weather was fine and sunny and they travelled out to about seven miles offshore.
Best fish of the day went to David Newcombe (from Tibenham) with a 6lb 12oz cod, runner-up was Colin Haddock (Thorndon) with a 5lb cod.
Other members were Paul Stowe (Scole). Michael Thorndyke (Eye), Craig Skinner (Stow) and Steve Mills (Diss).
