BECKVALE Boys travelled to St Benet's Wasps knowing a win from their last two games would secure the league title.
The club was only formed last summer and after being top all season, they were keen to wrap up the title at the first opportunity. And they did it in style, beating Wasps 8-0 to leave the boys buzzing.
Beckvale went one up through captain Heasley from close range. In-form Luke Homer quickly added another. Beckvale were solid at the back with Miller and Oakley in fine form and Ready pulled off two fine saves. Homer added another before an own goal.
Heasley made it five shortly after the restart, Jake Harvey made it 6-0 after a great solo run, slotting home. Ethan Leader was causing the home defence lots of trouble with his direct play and movement off the ball; this resulted in Homer and Foster adding to the score.
