Bowls pairs battle at Diss
Diss and District Bowls Club held their open indoor/outdoor charity pairs tournament recently. An entry of 48 players enjoyed the excellent weather and bowling conditions.

An entry of 48 players enjoyed the excellent weather and bowling conditions.
Winners were Justin Sims and Maurice Hurry (Hoxne), 2 John Burrows and Andrew Bryant (Risbygate), 3 Pat and Kevin Baker (Diss and District), 4 Cyril Major and Dennis Grogan (Diss and District), 5 Linda and Rob James (Coltishall), 6 Brenda Mark and Eric Rawsthorne (Diss and District), 7 Carole and Tony Baker (Diss and District), 8 Mary Johnson and Kevin Mobbs (Diss and District).
President Brian Flaxmer presented the Freeman Trophy and prizes to the winners and thanked Pat Lewis Ltd for sponsoring the tournament and the local traders for supporting the raffle.
A total of �405.50 was raised for Leukaemia Research.
