This time Mortlock was beaten by Adrian Key and Steve Griffee although the latter game was decided at 13-11 in the fifth leg.

Shotguns A beat Shotguns C 6-4 although the whole C team was made up of D players from the same division - surely this should be a topic of conversation at the next annual meeting?

In the Speedy Bat Sports Division One Newton Flotman, with a match in hand over their two closest rivals, extended their lead at the top of the division after a close 6-4 win over a two-man Botesdale team - only if they had had a third player, they may have inflicted the Eagles first defeat of the season. Mark Beswick was unbeaten for the Eagles.

Palgrave Stars are up to second in the table after beating Shotguns E 6-4 and Shotguns G 9-1. David Leeder took a maximum for the Stars against the E team whilst Terry Rayner did the same against the G team.
