In the Crown Fire Central & South Norfolk League, Dickleburgh are virtually league champions for the first time in over 20 years.

They beat Cranworth at home by the only goal of the game to reach 46 points and can now only be caught on points by Gressenhall, who were 9-1 home winners over bottom team Yaxham.

Gressenhall would have to win both their remaining matches and improve their goal difference by nearly 30 to pip Dickleburgh on the line. Bridgham finished their fixtures with a 6-0 win at Rockland and will take the runners-up medals if Gressenhall fail to take maximum points from their last two matches.

Cockers beat Shipdham 5-3 to complete a very satisfactory debut season in the top division and Narborough won 2-1 at Hingham Athletic to complete their first season in the league.

In Division Two, Thetford Rovers Reserves beat Wymondham Town A 2-1 and now need to take only one more point from their remaining three games to make certain of the divisional title and to lift their third consecutive title in three years since re-joining the league.

Morley Village in third spot lost their last game 2-1 at Necton Reserves and will have to wait on Bunwell's results from their last three matches to see if they can hold onto third place. Nostro won 2-0 at Hingham Athletic Reserves and Shropham proved too strong for West End, beating them 4-1.

Bradenham Wanderers Reserves are third division champions after winning 6-3 at Bawdeswell. The next three clubs also all won so the chase for the runners up medals is still far from settled. Castle Acre Swifts won 6-0 at Shipdham Reserves to condemn their hosts to the wooden spoon; Hethersett Athletic celebrated their midweek Pease League Cup victory with a 6-0 win at Gressenhall Reserves; and Northwold S&SC won 8-3 at Hindolveston to keep their faint hopes alive.

In Division Four, Thurton & Ashby kept the heat on leaders Splitz with a 4-1 home win over Methwold Rovers which means that Splitz still need a point from their remaining game to make certain of the divisional championship. Breckland Wanderers lost their last game at home to Stoke Ferry by the only goal of the game and will now have to wait to see whether they hang on to third place. In the other match, Colkirk signed off with a 3-2 home win over Rampant Horse.
