The Pauline Burroughes Spring Salver has been running for 19 years in remembrance of an avid golfer and well-loved member of Diss Golf Club.
Special guests included Diana and Eric Burroughes, who very kindly agreed to present the prizes to the winners of this stableford competition.
Joy Walker and Joan Thornett (social-member and ex-member, respectively), were welcomed by the ladies to dine with them as invited guests.
Mr Burroughes made a small speech in memory of his late first wife and then presented the prizes. He invited everyone to accept a drink off him.
Lady Captain Jill Driver presented Diana Burroughes with a lovely bouquet of flowers.
Winners: 1 Chris Clews 39pts, 2 Di Jacklin 36, 3 Liz Bloom 35.
