Diss Ladies beat rivals
Not to be intimidated by on-form Broadland II, Diss Ladies started the hockey match attacking hard and allowing the opposition very little play of the ball.
Not to be intimidated by on-form Broadland II, Diss Ladies started the hockey match attacking hard and allowing the opposition very little play of the ball.
Diss were soon to be rewarded with a Chenery goal, followed shortly after by a second goal from Chenery, accurately knocked in from a long cross.
Broadland did manage to get a goal back but, much to their frustration, couldn't get the equaliser. With tempers fraying, Charlie Everett and Megan Brown were superbly calm in defence for Diss allowing the home team to stay ahead and take a much-deserved win. Diss Player of the Match was Lucy Kershaw.
