DISS lost to Horsford on Sunday by 111 runs in the Norfolk Umpires' Invitational Cup.

Horsford battled first and posted 253-7 off their allotted 50 overs, with Matthew Warnes scoring an excellent 105.

Horsford battled first and posted 253-7 off their allotted 50 overs, with Matthew Warnes scoring an excellent 105. Simon Cooper was leading Diss bowler with 3-50. Andy Tebble took two wickets with Rob Tooke, Chris Cooper taking a wicket apiece facing a large total.

Diss were never in the hunt and with Henry Rush top scoring with only 28 and Simon Cooper and Ben Spinks also reaching 20, the innings closed on 134 all out, leaving Diss well beaten on the day.
