DISS Town Football Club striker Jordan Rocastle has been selected for the England Colleges national football squad.
At the National Squad Selection Camp held on the weekend of January 29 at Lilleshall, Jordan was chosen for the final squad of 17 from a qualifying group of 33 players.
Jordan, 19, attends Easton College in Norwich, and is also Diss Town's leading goal scorer with 16 goals in 20 appearances (plus three as a substitute) this season. He scored five goals against Cornard on Saturday afternoon (see report on Page 55).
The first England Colleges international match will be against Wales in a few weeks' time.
Jordan is one of three strikers in the squad; you can find details of the squad selected for the England Colleges Football National Team in 2011 at the British Colleges Sport (BCS) website: www.britishcollegessport.org
